Wedge prisms are substrates that the rear surfaces are not parallel but have particular angles with the front surfaces. Mostly they can be used as isolating components in front of LD or in measuring instruments. They can produce a small deviation,which don`t allow return to the source. The wedge angle eliminates the reflection from its rear surface.
